On your own
Activities you can do on your own are visiting places like "Mi jardin es su jardin", which is private estate where you are free to walk around the very beautiful gardens, "El explorador" a place outside of town that has terraced gardens with a lot of funny surprises, the museum that exhibits pre-Columbian artifacts or drinking some famous Boquete coffee in one of the local coffee shops. Furthermore, because of the lovely natural scenery and cool climate, adventurous hikes through pristine rainforest, canyons and waterfalls are great options. You can also swim and hang out with the local people at the open air swimming pool that has exciting long slides.
